The Quiet battle

Inside my mind, a storm will start,
No thunder heard, yet shakes my heart.
I smile so wide, but deep within,
A thousand wars I cannot win.
Some days I float, some days I fall,
The weight unseen, yet feels so tall.
I breathe, I break, I try, I mend,
The pain’s a teacher, not the end.
To heal is slow, to rest is brave,
To ask for help – the soul you save.
The sun returns, though clouds will stay,
And light will find its gentle way.
