Slow decay talks about the confusion that follows a mental health crisis; when we still feel torn apart, yet we are holding together. It also captures healing in its unedited form and the quiet strain of existing while healing is still unfinished. The absurdity of the piece reflects that in-between state, when we are in pain, hopeful and confused all at the same time.
